Presented to Lt Col W.L. McGregor (Senior) by the Officers of the Essex Scottish to commemorate the use of his family tartan as the plaid of one of His Majesty's Canadian military units, 1927. McGregor was CO of 241st Battalion Canadian Scottish Borderers 1916-1919.
