Rectangular brass plaque with three maple leaf motifs in each corner, scroll-like edges around inscription, "Honour Roll of 21st Essex Fusiliers for the defence / of our empire 'Come the three corners of the world in arms / And we shall shock them: / Naught shall make us rue / If England to herself do rest but true.' King John Act V", "God Save the Queen", "Oct 1899", "Erected by the daughters of the regiment".
