Brass Tablet, Honour Roll of Great War 1914-1918

Rectangular brass plaque with leaves tied with ribbon engraved on top, leaf pattern around inscription, "This tablet commemorates those who enlisting in the armouries for the Great War 1914-1918. At the call of King and Country, left all that was dear to them, endured hardship, faced danger, and finally passed out of sight of men by the path of duty and self-sacrifice giving up their own lives that others might live in freedom - 'let those who come after see to it that they not be forgotten'. Erected by the imperial order daughters of the Empire of Essex County".
