Painted oblong china commemorative plate for the visit of King and Queen to Canada in 1939. Outside edge trimmed in gold. Depicts red flowers. "King George VI and Queen Elizabeth" with a fruit motif, royal crown and crest with lion on left and unicorn on right. Blue curl motif on top and pink at bottom as background in centre. Verso, "Paragon"; crest; "by appointment to H.M. the Queen"; crest; "by appointment H.M. Queen Mary "; "A Perpetual Souvenir in King George VI & Queen Elizabeth to Canada and the United States of America, 1939. Made in England Regd" painted centre.
