Two brass coins. Left coin of vessel: "Antoine de LaMothe-Cadillac, founder of Detroit 250th anniversary, 1951" in relief, Rene P. Chambellan in relief bottom right. Right coin of Detroit skyline, "Detroit's 250th Birthday Festival 1951 Past. Present. Future" in relief and "Old Fort PONTCHARTRAIN 1701" in relief bottom right underneath outline of fort. "Civic Centre" in relief bottom left. "The Essex Scottish Empire Day Service Detroit's 250th Anniversary Year presented by St. Paul's Cathedral" on engraved brass plaque in centre under coins. Mounted side by side on navy cloth matte, framed in gold wood.
