Pen and ink cartoon of man seated looking at English-Irish Dictionary and Windsor Daily Star. "Colonel Arthur S. Pearson OBE, CD, ADC This commander of the Essex Scottish Reg't and others reviewed the possible change in name of The Regiment circa 1938. The 'Scottish Borderers' was one consideration. The internationally acclaimed cartoonist of the Windsor Star - 'Knight' developed humorous drawing of situation. This is the only known copy of his original sketch appearing in newspaper in 1938" typed left. Dramed in gold metal easel-back.
