Essex Scottish hat badge and dog collar set presented to officers on marriage. "The Essex Scottish Semper Paratus" top centre pin and two lion's profile shoulder badges framed with "Presented to Lieut. F.A. Tilston by his Brother Officers" engraved brass plaque bottom centre. Red and gold ribbon top left corner. Mounted on black cloth. Framed in gold and black wood. "T.W. Brooke & Sons Ltd. 74 Pitt St. West Phone 3-7372-Windsor, Ont." stamped bottom centre verso.
