WWI Captured GE 77mm Field Gun (City of Windsor property)

WWI German 77mm field gun. "German gun captured by 1st Canadian Infantry Battalion near Courcellette, France on Oct 11 1918". Donated by Essex Transportation Museum in 2006. Formerly property of City of Windsor. Refurbished by St. Clair College 2011-2018. In 2019 moved to Woodall Warehouse on St. Luke Road then to Acrolab Ltd on Tranby in 2022. Khaki paint. Gun returned to City in July 2024, plaque in May 2025.
