Pipe banner LtCol McGregor
(1948-1951)
Shiny navy blue cloth pipe banner with gold tassel fringe, front depicts crest of Essex Scottish Regiment in red, green, and yellow in an oblong shape with the words, "The Essex Scottish Semper Paratus", lion's profile with a shield of three sabres, verso depicts ornaments crown with arm extending out of centre holding a green branch. Hung on wall attached with four glack ties to metal rod with ornamental end. Donated by Lt Col Walter McGregor, CO, Essex Scottish 1948-1951.
