NAZI Navy Sword & Scabbard 1945

Navy officer's sword given on surrender in 1945. Possibly given to Essex Scottish officer Tom Stewart. Donated with note, "Last month of the war and moving SE to Hamburg crossed border, moving quickly Belgium to Germany. Bypassed a small community across the Rhine to Hamburg. Came to a naval installation at Wilhelshaven officer surrendered flag on main road...lower echelon handed over sword as token of surrender". Leather tassel and cloth tassel on ribbon. Crown motif and Nazi symbols on silver handle of sword.
